New to computers ??

Welcome to free learning section of Paradip Online. As I promised, I am going to start online computer learning classes from right now. This course materials are designed for new comers and not for the tech guys or IT Pros. Before starting the course allow me a few minutes to explain some basics behind the course.  Have you ever think of a computer? What it is and how it will be helpful to you. If your answer is yes, then you would have experiences some mind blowing facilities of this machine, else your answer is no (?), then this is time where you should thing it again. Let me explain few things first….

What impression you bear in your mind who could not write his own name without taking help of others. Yes, you guess right. I am talking about illiteracy. In these days everybody bears a bad impression about illiterate peoples (I apologize for saying this, however we can’t avoid facts). Not only bad impression they bears, but also they are deprived of lots of nice things world offers us to enjoy.

Now days you can find computer in every aspects of life. And if the trend continues (It will), very soon you will find yourself a far behind from the society. Even a standard – 1 kid also knows computer as part of his/her syllabus. In this scenario, I would like to invite all of my seniors, juniors, friends and in a whole, to all the people of paradip those who are new to computers, to avail this opportunity of time to keep pace with the society and if you not, after couple of years, you may bear the same impression, those who bear now for being illiterate. My intention is not to hurt anybody, however my only aim to educate people of paradip, those who are new to computers, what they can avail in this world, if they take help of computer.

Now you might be thinking.. hmm. It’s sounds crazy, but why and how will be benefited if I used to use computer. If so please follow on..

Let me ask you a simple question to you. What is your monthly income? Wait.. Don’t get angry with me. Suppose your monthly income is Rs.20,000/-. Fair enough. It’s not bad at all. But what will you do if you have an another budget of Rs.20,000/- per month due to any circumstances ? i.e., you have to earn Rs.40,000/- per month. Probably you will work more time to achieve this budget. If you work generally 8-10 hours to achieve Rs.20,000/-, then you must have to work 16-20 hours per day. Well… If you are asked to earn Rs.80,000/- per month, then what would you do ? You may work round the clock i.e., 24 hours per day to achieve this budget. I agreed and supposed you worked for 24 hours per day to achieve this budget of Rs.80, 000/-. What if you are asked to earn Rs.1, 00,000/- per month???? It is absolutely possible to earn this much per month as you also will agreed. Then what will do? Because every body this world are allowed with a limited time of 24 hours per day. So, one thing you certainly can not do is you can not increase your work hour more that 24 hours per day. Then you are bound to think differently. How?

In this situation you may increase your manpower or take help of machines. Here we will not talk about increasing manpower however we will strict to using machines. Why machines? Suppose with in your work schedule you have to go somewhere which is 20 KM from paradip, once a day. If you will try to go by walking then you might have to spend 8-10 hours in journey. However if you take help of machines like Bus, Car or Bike its, it will hardly take 30-40 minutes to complete the journey.

Just consider the situation. When you have to spend 8-10 hours per day to complete the journey to cover that 20 KM and if you use a machine to complete the journey, it will save your 7 hours per day. Now you have 24+7=31 hours per day (logically). Similarly if you can use machine in various aspects of your life it will tremendously reduce you time facilitating you more work to do to achieve your budget.
My intention is saying this story is, time is money. If you could save time, then you can earn money.. Very straight forward.. Is not it?

So, computer is nothing but a machine which is designed to help mankind to help them in various ways saving lots of time for them.

Last but not least, I can assure you, to operate a computer is not a hard job at all. Just only thing you need to know how to operate it, like other tools and machines in our home or workplace i.e. TV/Washing Machines etc….
